Born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Hamtramck, J.A.M. is a photographer, journalist and videographer.

As a writer, he currently contributes to Under the Laces (as a site expert / head editor), WhatCulture, Daily DDT, Sports Radio Detroit and Bam Smack Pow.

As a photographer, he's been featured in two major art shows (one of which he starred as an Emerging Solo Artist) sponsored by Whitdel Arts.

As a videographer, he has directed and edited three music videos.
